MT-PRO-IIIA ballistic panels (bulletproof, anti-puncture and anti-cut) - Engarde

The MT-PRO™ ballistic panel from the American brand Engarde provides us with superior protection against bullets, needles and stabbings , this combination makes it perfect for use in private security or in the police field. Engarde Deluxe case included.

Specifically, the ballistic panels comply with the NIJ .04 Level IIIA ballistic protection standards and also have protection against needles passing the VPAM KDIW 2004 test (5 J) and protection against knives passing the HOSDB P1 Knife test (15 J <20mm ).

The panels are made with Dyneema® , a high molecular weight fiber 15 times stronger than steel, and with TitanSkin™ technology that offers anti-knife protection.

The Engarde MT PRO IIIA vest offers us all this in just 8 mm and with a weight of 1.8kg (size M).

If you have doubts between the MT PRO vest and the FLEX PRO , the clearest difference between both is the rigidity, the FLEX PRO, as its name indicates, is more flexible and therefore more comfortable when wearing it, especially for women. . In terms of protection, the biggest difference is that the MT PRO includes protection against needles, the FLEX PRO does not include it, apart from this they have some differences regarding ballistic and anti-fragment protection tests, but they do not make a difference.

Includes a carrying bag. It has a 7-year warranty from the manufacturer.

Test and certifications:

• Ballistic protection: NIJ Level IIIA according to STD 0101.04 and SK1 certified according to TR03 / 2008 + 7.62x25 Tokarev FMJ S&B (Brass Jacket) @ 1800 ft/s.
• Protection against needles: VPAM KDIW 2004 (5 Joules).
• Anti-fragmentation protection: V50-9mm Luger DM41 (516m/s)
• Knife protection: HOSDB P1 Knife (15 Joules &lt; 20 mm)

Sizes:

1.- Measurement A: measure just above the navel.

2.- The sizing with Full-Wrap the panels touch on the sides without being placed on top of each other, with Over Lap the panels on the sides have an overlap of around 5cm (2"). The model with Overlap is Recommended for those looking for maximum protection , as a negative point they will have less freedom of movement.

3.- Measurement B is calculated from the navel to the sternum, check that it corresponds to the vest size that corresponded to you based on the measurements in step 2.

If it does not apply , you can choose between one size larger or smaller. To select one size or another you have to take into account whether you want the vest with Full Wrap (without overlap) or Overlap (with overlap).
