The Howard Leight brand of hearing protectors was founded in 1972, since then it has made many inventions in the field of hearing protectors from headband earplugs in the 70s, to rubber earplugs in the 80s. Today it boasts more than 150 patents.

In 2010 it was acquired by the multinational Honeywell and the synergy of these two brands made it grow even more. They have the most advanced acoustic laboratories in the world that make them capable of designing and producing hearing protectors that cover professional capacities, from day by day of all its users.
